The Owner/Chef was born with an apron on! With 30+ years of restaurant experience and founder of 9 previous restaurants, we now welcome you to Khans Cave Asian Tavern & Grill. When cooking was once a job, it has now become a hobby of interest. The pleasure of the customers are now his reward! Previously a Mongolian BBQ, Khan purchased this business in the summer of 2008 and completely remodeled the entire restaurant. This is an owner/chef operated neighborhood establishment. Food gets top attention here. Since we are an Asian Fusion Gastro-Tavern. Please do not expect authenticity in any ethnic food, but we make them good. We are not made for the rich & famous or for prime time, Khan just want to build a Nice Hole in Kearny Mesa with a touch of class & style, hence Khans Cave!
