It was the fishing operation of Robert Kenney, captain of an 80-foot steel hull shrimp boat that helped supply the market that opened in Slidell in 1989. Kenneys son-in-law Brian Cappy now runs the retail operation, which relies on supply from an array of fishersto keep the long lines of customers satisfied. The kitchen boils crawfish in 50-pound pots during the season, which means its churning out fresh, hot batches every half-hour to hour. One of my go-to places for anything shellfish related. They also have incredible PoBoys.
