R & R Behind the bar! When Christina and Kelly decided to make some changes, theirs was no easy task – finding the right people to carry on the Spirit, Atmosphere, and Traditions of Kellys. Enter Rhonda and Robert Hanson. Patrons, and friends, of Christina and Kelly since the beginning, they took the reigns of the Pub in May 2018. Together with Martin and Stephanie Hanson, Robs brother and sister-in-law, they look to keep the history and feel (and of course – the name!) of Kellys Pub & Wine Bar. And theyll also personalize it a bit, too! Dont fear – the Hansons all have a bit o Irish in their blood. What do you do when you go on vacation to your favorite country, experience your heritage and the hospitality of the native land, and find yourself never wanting to leave? You bring it home with you. A trip to the Emerald Isle began the journey of a cozy, out-of-the-way location in Redding to a bit o Ireland. The atmosphere and service is that of family. And, for years, the reputation has grown. But the place has never lost that familiar small-town feel. The best libations from across the pond anchor the menu including the Black and Tan. Local brews are also offered with a smile. And the proprietors love for wine is displayed with countless options, and incredible knowledge. From traditional Irish music to classic rock, live music has become a staple for this venue. Local musicians and touring acts alike have stopped in for intimate shows to capacity groups. Even young Jazz choirs have played for the folks, raising money for their endeavors.
