Established in 2004. Italian food. Sandra Jaquez is an entrepreneur who had a vision back in 2004 which later became a reality called Il Sole. She thought that the Inwood neighborhood community needed an alternative to the typical rice-and-beans joints that are popular in the area as well. Sandra founded Il Sole with a concept of simplicity, elegance and good service; these charasteristics have made of Il Sole a successful restaurant that clearly stands out from the others.
