Heirloom Kitchen

To us this restaurant is a way to pay homage to the meals, restaurant experiences, teachers & mentors weve had along the way. To us food is so much more than ingredients combined, cooked & plated, there are a multitude of factors that make a meal memorable. We want this restaurant and the dishes on our menu to be an expression of our love of food and the joy that it has brought us. Every dish has a story and is purposeful in its place on our menu. We are either offering you an insight into one of our favorite meals, or we are sharing our version of a dish that changed the way we think about cooking. We chose the name Heirloom Kitchen because it fit our mission and our inspiration for this restaurant so perfectly. The word heirloom invokes freshness and seasonal cuisine if you were to consider such ingredients as heirloom tomatoes or heirloom vegetables but the word also invokes the generational nature that is cooking. Family recipes are heirlooms that are passed down from generation to generation which is ultimately why we both have a love for cooking and have found a home in the restaurant industry. Both of our families have had strong and talented mothers and grandmothers who shared their talents and shared their love through food and now it is our turn to continue sharing that gift through our Heirloom Kitchen.
