A mainstay in the historic Soulard neighborhood for many years, and a touchstone for St. Louis Mardi Gras, Hammerstones also boasts a very comfortable outdoor garden with stage, meaning those bands are often found there in the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. I highly recommend this family owned and distinctive touchstone in the citys oldest neighborhood. Whether it is the food or the music, you WILL get your fill! I went to this establishment with friends for drinks. However, stayed for some food. The food was good and service was prompt. The atmosphere was fantastic. Outside patio with live entertainment which always has quality musicians. Great place to just hang with friends and enjoy the sights and sounds.
