We are currently closed for the winter season and will reopen April 30th. The ten mile drive from Boulder takes you back a hundred years and leads you through some of the most beautiful vistas in the Colorado Rockies. Nestled beneath the Continental Divide, lightsand city noise of the Twenty-first Century. Things havent changed much since Frank and Barbara Finn opened the Gold Hill Inn in 1962. Sons Chris and Brian Finn are now managing operations by continuing to serve their six course meals, with the menu reflecting the seasonal offerings of the local markets. The generous 6 courses are offered for $42.00 along with a lighter 3 course meal for $35.00 this season, with a unique wine list and full bar to complement your meal. In addition they offer Murder Mystery nights at the Bluebird Lodge. Holiday festivities of food and music on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, and various musical evenings throughout the Summer. . Of the . . . good restaurants the business traveler will find in or near the university town of Boulder, Colorado, one stands out as a maverick. Located 3,200 feet up a mountain from Boulder, which itself is a mile above sea level, the Gold Hill Inn thumbs its nose at conventional restaurant standards. :They may be far from the nearest big city, but when you pull up a seat in any of these rural restaurants, youll be happy you made the drive.
