For nearly seven decades, Ginos Steakhouse is still the restaurant of choice for those wanting that true Chicago steakhouse experience in Northwest Indiana. Originally owned and operated by the Massignani family from 1950 to 1995, Ginos continues to serve many of the popular menu items that propelled this family-owned steakhouse to success in the Chicagoland area. Current owners, Progressive Dining Group, are dedicated to maintaining the Ginos tradition of serving its guests delicious steaks, seafood, pasta and chops, while continuing to provide exceptional customer service. Ginos Steakhouse has everything one would come to expect from an established downtown Chicago restaurant…and then some. Headed by our Executive Chef, Jose Vasquez, and his culinary team, Ginos continues to serve classic recipes such as its Signature Filet with Roquefort Cheese, Ahi Tuna, Chicken Airline with Rigatoni Pasta and Vodka Sauce, Chilean Sea Bass and a selection of dry aged prime steaks. Included with every meal, Ginos Signature Marinated Peppers serve as one of the staples of the locally famous brand, which is also known for its housemade desserts including Tiramisu, Chocolate Cake and Cheesecake. With two locations (Dyer, IN and Merrillville, IN), Ginos offers an ambiance that is soft, quiet, and romantic, serving an award winning menu to local residents, politicians and Chicago celebrities/sports figures alike. Whether youre celebrating a shower or any other special event, both locations house banquet space for up to 100 people.
