The GIN MILL RESTAURANT AND TAVERN welcomes you with wholesome American fare prepared through simple, time-honored cooking methods. Locally owned and operated since the early 1930s, the then 4th Avenue Café served the local Bethlehem Steel workers as a place to relax after a days work. The name morphed into the 4th Avenue Gin Mill in the 1950s. Although the steel industry waned, the Gin Mills longstanding reputation kept business alive for many years. The Arnold family transformed the Gin Mill a decade ago into a more modern establishment. This contemporary neighborhood tavern evokes the warmth and welcoming setting of a residential kitchen and gathering place. We have established partnerships with individual breweries and distributors that will allow us to debut new creations, feature limited quantity selections, and to make available the most sought after beers and breweries. We rotate 20 or more local, national, and international craft beers to offer the best selection available on our 24 tap system. We have updated our wine list and carefully paired different styles with food items on the menu so you can experience the remarkable compatibility of food and wine.
