Detailed Information

FOB Kitchen grew out of the love for our friends, for family, for community, for food, and for celebration. Our mission is to serve solid Filipino food, and vibrant drinks inspired by the islands while creating a space that cultivates community, good vibes, and brings awareness to the amazing flavors of Filipino food. A pop-up up since 2015, FOB Kitchen has now opened is first brick-and-mortar. What excites us the most about opening our doors, is that for the first time, customers will get to come in a get the true FOB Kitchen experience, from the bold wall paper and vibrant tile, to the open kitchen. We envision hip-hop coming through the speakers, a fun and warm staff who makes it feel as though you were visiting old friends. FOB Kitchen is our home, and we want everyone to feel welcome here. As I got to know Dulce, I realized this scene perfectly encapsulated what was happening here: FOB Kitchen was a labor of family love.” The beloved Filipino pop-up made its brick-and-mortar debut, and we are all better for it. Opened this November in Oaklands Temescal neighborhood, the new restaurant from chef Jami Dulce serves gorgeous, inspired Filipino food in a bright setting. After over three years of running FOB Kitchen in pop-up form, including a residency at Gashead Tavern in San Franciscos Mission District, the couple made the whole thing permanent with the rabid support of their huge fan base.” San Franciscos loss has become the East Bays gainin the form of lumpia with sweet chili sauce, triple-cooked pork belly, and island-inspired cocktails. The beloved Filipino pop-up FOB Kitchen has crossed the Bay to take up permanent residence (liquor license included) in Oaklands Temescal neighborhood.”
