All of our food is cooked to order, which makes the wait worth it. Larry was proud to cook and serve the best and highest quality meats at the lowest prices possible. Larry competed on Memphis in May and Kansas City BBQ contest circuits. His love of cooking won him Grand Champion at the Memphis in May BBQ fest in 1999. He continued to compete and win many state championships and eventually combined his love of serving people and cooking BBQ by opening Fat Larrys BBQ and Southern Favorites in 2008. His BBQ, burgers and steaks became a local staple here in Bartlett, TN. Sadly, Larry passed away in October of 2020 and his wife and daughter, along with his dedicated staff, are committed to continuing his legacy. You may not see his jolly self sitting at the table by the kitchen, but we can guarantee the best BBQ, southern cooking and friendly atmosphere in town. We are conveniently located on US Highway 70.
