El Metate

El Metate Cafe was founded in 2007 by Everardo and Ana, immigrants from Mexico who had a passion for Authentic Mexican cuisine and wanted to share it with the world. Ana, who originates from Nayarit, a coastal state on the Pacific Ocean, and Eve, who originates from Zacatecas, a norther-central state known for its Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, bring a unique mixture of coastal and inland cuisine that offers their clients an eclectic array of Mexican delicacies. We got started in the field of restaurant services about 13 years ago. BUT WHY? Because we didnt know how wonderful, how scary, how tiring and how fulfilling it was! It takes long hours of hard work so that we may bring you the best in a sit-down Cafe. Who runs El Metate. Mom, Dad, one daughter & 3 sons. Notice that Mom ALWAYS comes first. As a family our day starts about 7am and usually ends at about 10pm. Wow 15 hours! We do this everyday to make sure that we give you the best service we can.
