Duck Deli is a small family style restaurant featuring BBQ and much, much more. It was established in 1987 by a retired dentist and entrepreneur, Ron Forlano Sr. and his son, Ken from Pennsylvania. After spending summers vacationing on the Outer Banks, dreams beganto form of living here and running a small family business on the beach. Family gatherings and great food always brought our family together and what goes better with the summer and the beach but BBQ. After several years on the road, as a musician, Ron Jr. moved to Duck to help run the family business. Duck Deli is now a third-generation family restaurant with several of Kens and Ron Jr.s children working.
