Family owned and operated since 1979, our team at Dockside is dedicated to providing great food, drink, sports and fun in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere at all four of our locations. The Dockside Restaurants Company is headquartered in Malden, Massachusetts and presently operates four locations in the Greater Boston area. The first concept created by Dockside founder Jack Urbaczewski was established in 1979. Over the past thirty years, numerous other concepts have developed and a variety of locations were opened. Some of these include: City Hall Pub, Jimmys Cafe, Mallside Restaurant, Chelseas Restaurant & Bar, International Pub, Rockefellers Nightclub, TJs Roadhouse, Dockside Newport and Dockside Nahant. The original Dockside Sports Restaurant & Bar was established in 1981 at 183 State Street in Boston. Located in Faneuil Hall, the Dockside was the place to catch all sports action, especially the Celtics original Big Three throughout the 80s. Here the concept of providing generous portions of great American food at an affordable price was developed.
