Davilas serves fresh pecan, coconut, apple and lemon pies. Davilas appreciates all the support local citizens have given the business throughout the years. Edward says they believe in giving back to the community. Davilas works with the Mobile Meals program thatprovides meals to the disadvantaged. They also sponsor various athletic teams and provide support to numerous organizations when needed. Edward has served on the board of directors of the Seguin and Guadalupe County Chamber of Commerce and has served as chairman and co-chairman of the Freedom Fiesta committee several times. He has served on the Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin Board of Directors and has been active coaching softball, basketball, soccer and football. Even against doctors orders, Raul Sr. can still be found hard at work at the business he founded so many years ago. Seeing him has driven me to work like that too, Edward said, giving his father credit for the success the business has enjoyed. We treat customers as well as we can. We give them their moneys worth — good food and good service.
