Our organization has evolved from a strictly crisis-driven agency to one that develops and delivers long term services addressing community needs such as low-income housing, affordable healthcare, access to mental health and substance abuse resources and the need for job training opportunities. We offer a continuum services taking our clients from emergency to sustainability with case management, counseling, housing, employment services, and much more. Safelight serves men, women and children with programs including a 24-hour crisis line, 40 bed emergency shelter, Counseling Center and support groups, the Believe Child Advocacy Center, the Henderson County Family Justice Center, Job Training (Sewing, Dandelion café, and Safelight Resale Store), and community education and advocacy.
