Established in 2010. Southern Gourmet Restaurant in the heart of downtown Huntsville Chef James Boyce, a 20-year industry veteran, launched his culinary career at New Yorks Le Cirque. While working in New York, he studied at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA)in Hyde Park, graduating with top honors. After earning a 2nd Mobil Five-Star award, he relocated to Huntsville, AL to begin new culinary endeavors with the development of his own company, Boyce Restaurant Concepts, Inc. together with his wife, Suzan. In 2008 they opened Cotton Row, in Downtown Historic Huntsville, featuring fine American cuisine with strong Southern influences. They also opened Pane e Vino Pizzeria, which offers rustic-chic Italian fare in a superbly artistic setting. And influenced by turn of the century style and classic cuisine, Jimmy and Suzan, opened the doors to Commerce Kitchen in December 2010. Each restaurant within the Boyce Restaurant Concepts portfolio offers guests unique tastes, and together a compelling destination dining experience for Downtown Historic Huntsville.
