The Circle Grill was started in 1946 by the Evans family. The restaurant was named Circle Grill for the traffic circle at the intersection of Loop 12 (Buckner Blvd.) and the soon to be completed Interstate 30. The Evans family retired in 1999 and sold the restaurant to Sam and Kathy Vergos, who remodeled it to ensure that the Circle Grill stays an East Dallas landmark that it is today! Our newest owners (as of February 2017) are Rebar and Bjar; local business owners who were looking to expand! And Rebar is continuing the remodel Sam started by putting in new counters, a fresh coat of paint and booth repairs as well as a family tree with all our family and yours around the tree! A must see!
