The Child Development & Family Council of Centre Co., Inc. (CDFC) is a private non-profit corporation founded in 1972. Its mission statement is as follows: To facilitate the coordination, administration and provision of quality care and child development services in Centre County; to develop mechanisms to promote comprehensive programs responsive to the needs of the children and families in Centre County; to act in Centre County as the Community Coordinated Child Care agency. The corporation does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profit, incident or otherwise to its members.
