A 2014 Technomic survey showed consumers were most likely to recommend Cheddars over any other full-service restaurant chain, and in 2012, Zagat ranked Cheddars the nations No.1 full-service restaurant chain as well as Top Overall American Cuisine, Top Rated Food and Top Rated Décor and Facilities. Consumer Reports named Cheddars No. 1 in the Pub Style or Grill Category in its restaurant surveys in 2009 and 2012. The company also received the No. 1 ranking in Nations Restaurant News/WD Partners Consumer Picks Edition for Value and Likelihood to Recommend in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2014, the company first introduced its Cheddars Scratch Kitchen branding, designed to highlight its focus on scratch-made meals.
