Cassie's Cafe

Established in 2007. Home of the best Southern Fried Catfish Fillets and Fried Pickles around. Delicious hand breaded Chicken Tenders and fresh ground meat never frozen Hamburgers. We serve a Meat and 3 vegetable plate lunch with bread, dessert and drink for $7. Best pancakes and biscuits and gravy in town. We have been in business as Cassies Café since May 2007. We have owned and operated several restaurants such as Ma & Pas Country Kitchen, The Fish Net and Café 53. I learned the fine art of cooking from my mom (Dovie Sledge) that was a cook at Car City Café for over 25 years. I was raise in the restaurant business. Grew up washing dishes at Car City Café right along beside my mom till I was old enough to get a job on my own in a café. I went to work at the Village Corner Café in Hazel Green. I learned the business end of running a successful restaurant from the owner there Jean Curtis. Mrs.Jean was a big influence in my life. She taught me a lot about cooking and operating a successful business. I have passed that knowledge own to my own daughters and nieces and daughter-in-laws that work every day in our restaurants to make them a success. Our goal is to make Cassies Café a household name.
