Fermentation was stopped to create a dry crisp rose. Made in an off-dry style. It has wonderful citrus flavors with tangerine and ruby grapefruit. It also has a very nice mineral quality on the finish. This Chardonnay is really really really good. It pairs great with every season of the year. With this in mind Melrose created Vin Du Fermier – the farmers wine, the perfect Pinot Noir for any occasion The Parker Family found a balance of spice and fruit from Co-fermenting their Syrah grapes with 2% Viogneier skins. This achieved a white pepper spiced tone while have a subtle tropical complexity. They aged this wine in French Oak Barrels for 16 months which imparts sweet baking spices and compliments the concentration of this wine.
