Captain Mardens Seafoods was founded by my father, Master Mariner Captain Roy Wilfred Marden in 1945 as a single retail store west of Boston. His mission was simple…offer the very best seafood in town. Since then, Captain Mardens has grown to include over one hundred employees working in our restaurant, retail market, mobile food truck and wholesale division. We offer a line of delicious frozen entrées shipped overnight coast-to-coast. Our fleet of over twenty-five trucks deliver daily to area restaurants and supermarkets from our highly-respected wholesale operation located in Westwood. Over the years, however, one thing has remained constant: our genuine (and some say obsessive) commitment to quality, freshness, and simplicity. It is what continues to earn us our reputation as simply the best when it comes to New England seafood. Captain Mardens remains a family owned and operated business, with my son, daughter, nephew and I involved in various aspects of the business. History and tradition have kept Captain Mardens on the right track thus far and will continue to do so into the future.
