After Katrina , Chef Minh Bui and Chef Cynthia Vu-Tran moved their restaurant Lemon Grass from downtown New Orleans to Mid City where Chef Minh s Lemon Grass Cafe originated from. Together they rebuilt from the ground up putting their faith that the vitality of Mid-City would return. From there, Cafe Minh has built a loyal local clientele, becoming a refreshing get away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area and a welcome change, setting itself apart from other restaurants, not just for those visiting this beautiful city, but for those who call New Orleans home.
