The Pelican Cafe is situated in the historic Kelsey House, which was built in the 1940s as a guest house of Mr. Harry Seymour Kelsey, who founded the town of Lake Park and was one of the largest landowners in Palm Beach County in the 1920s. The home was perfect for our vision of creating an atmosphere of Nantucket Meets the Florida Keys. You may dine in one of several indoor dining rooms or opt for a table on our spacious outdoor veranda, under cover. At night, our patio is magical with twinkling blue lights adding to the nautical ambiance. Many guests remark about the artwork on our walls. All paintings are the works of local artist August Pearl and are for sale. Our recent renovations have given the house a lot of love and upgrades which kept its charm and will last for years to come.
