Established in 1998. At Bread Euphoria, we are committed to bringing you the very best baked goods, sandwiches, pizza and entrees available, anywhere. We like to keep things simple. We never compromise the quality or purity of our ingredients for price. Most of ourbreads do not use commercial yeast, because we prefer the flavor provided by natural starters and a long fermentation. We use organic ingredients and locally grown ingredients whenever possible. We pride ourselves on the variety of our products, from beautifully prepared standards like our baguettes or croissants to dynamic new combinations in our cakes, pizzas, sandwiches and scones. We are proud to belong to a community of small farms and locally-owned food producers whose products flavor our great-tasting, nutritious bread and baked goods. Bread Euphoria began as a small, wood fired brick oven bakery located in Cummington, Massachusetts. The bakery served wholesale clients and farmers market customers with high quality, hand crafted sourdough breads and pastries. In 2003, current owners Mark and Geri Pollard left San Francisco and drove 2993 miles to take over the business. After a couple of years in Cummington, they relocated the bakery to its current location in Haydenville, MA. The new location soon became a popular place for people to stop on their way to or from the Pioneer Valley and pick up a loaf of fresh bread, a pastry or two and a cup of good coffee. With the addition of soups, sandwiches and other lunch offerings, it wasnt long before the bakery outgrew its modest retail space. In 2009, Mark & Geri undertook a major expansion of Bread Euphoria – opening a bright and airy retail space and cafe in the front of their building. Whats next? Come in and find out!
