Brazilian Cape Cod

Meet the dreamy and fearless heart of the founder of Brazilian Cape Cod. Mariana has always had a passion for helping people. Always involved in volunteer work, one of her callings was to help with the literacy of adults who could not read and write Portuguese. From an early age she heard that she was patient and caring with her students. Her dedication to her countrymen extended to distant lands, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She saw the need facing the Brazilian community on Cape Cod with the barrier of not knowing how to speak English. Although she is still not in love with English even after years of studying in Brazil, her passion for solidarity with others brought back her call to teach. Classes were free and started with large classes meeting in libraries, parks and even on beaches during the summer. During the process, the need of some students for more private lessons was seen. And it was from this that the Brazilian Cape Cod room became a reality. Mariana reflects her determination and affection in every detail of her work. Inspiring and promoting solutions and partnerships so that the quality of life of Brazilians on Cape Cod is even better. Mariana has a very different job. In addition to separating classes by level of knowledge, which makes it much easier, it has modern methods that make the student learn while having fun. I highly recommend it. I felt a huge evolution in my English since I started classes, and besides Mari is a sweet and super helpful. I love the dynamics of the classes, where each week Mari approaches different segments, such as listening, conversation, reading, as well as games, which makes the classes super light and fun. Classes became a distraction in my week, and not an obligation like it used to be to study English for me. Im already looking forward to returning in the next period. Cap cod Brazilian classes have been a very fundamental learning experience for me. There I can learn and understand the language clearly (English). Very
