All of Boylan Heights beef is certified organic, grass fed, hormone and anti-biotic free, and local. The meat is then dry aged to further deepen the flavor. Boylan also has 19 TVs, an HD projector, 15 beers on tap, two floors, two bars, a lounge, 22 ft shuffleboard tables, a stage for bands, and outdoor seating with garage door entrances: something for everyone. Boylan Heights was inspired by The Burger Bar in Mandalay Bay, in Las Vegas, NV. After further research and interest from the current owners of Boylan Heights, they found a local organic butcher in Charlottesville, VA claiming to have the best local organic grass fed beef around. After teaming up together, Boylan Heights was born. The name Boylan Heights comes from the band The Connells and their 1987 album named Boylan Heights after the neighborhood they grew up in in Ralegh, NC. Boylan Heights has adopted a boarding school theme throughout the restaurant. You can build your own burger using custom scantron sheets (bubble tests from school). The servers wear oxfords, chuck taylors shoes, and the overall feel is extremely laid back, comfortable and clean. The idea was to create an atmosphere thats friendly to everyone, young and old.
