The outstanding, Tom Jackson deisigned 27-hole public golf facility opened in 1998. In May 2018, Magnolia Greens Golf Club was acquired by Renaissance Golf Group. Recognized as one of the top public golf facitlites in the southeast, Magnolia Greens has been the venue for several PGA Tour and USGA qualifying events. Founded in 2017 by four investors, Renasissance Golf Group is a golf management company based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. They currently own and manage four coastal North Carolina courses: Compass Pointe Golf Club (Leland), Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation (Leland), Beaufort Club (Beaufort) and Ironwood Golf & Country Club (Greenville).
