When your story begins in Kauai, Hawaii, it is birthed with a profound respect for all life and a celebration of the gifts of nature. Blossoming Lotus has been surprising and delighting customers for almost 20 years since opening its first cafe, juice bar and bakery in Kapaa on the island of Kauai. Our first Portland location at Yoga Pearl served life-affirming foods to a grateful and mindful audience and led to a full-service restaurant experience in the Irvington neighborhood. In 2020, our original cafe and juice bar concept is returning to the NW Slabtown neighborhood – located in Root Whole Body. At the heart of why were here is to feed and nourish people with the best of a plant-based menu featuring the highest quality ingredients available, creatively crafted and made with love. While we use absolutely no animal ingredients in the foods we produce, we source local, organic ingredients as often as available, and some of our recipes may have 30+ ingredients sourced from nature! Our staff prepare and serve food as if serving their own families with the highest attention to quality, detail and care. We want every person coming through our doors to leave inspired by plants, completely satisfied and most importantly, truly nourished. Offering a full menu of local favorites, chef specials, seasonal selections, whole food dishes and feature many gluten-free and soy-free options. We also operate a full bar with many libations for all to enjoy, including fine local beer, wine and house-made, classic craft cocktails.
