Established in 2014. The cuisine of Northern India with a focus on authentic dum pukht or slow cooking techniques from the region of Awadh and its culinary center of Lucknow. We also have a sophisticated wine and cocktail program. Chef/Restaurateur Gaurav Anand of the 2-star Moti Mahal Delux and Bhatti Indian Grill is bringing unique regional Indian cuisine to the Upper West Side with the opening of Awadh. Awadh showcases the cooking traditions of its namesake northern Indian region along with a sophisticated wine and cocktail program, and tea selection from an estate in the foothills of the Himalayas. For his flagship restaurant, Anand has brought together a talented team including consulting sommelier John Slover (Daniel, Charlie, Bird, Cru).
