Authenticos cuisine is healthy Mexican with a modern twist using the freshest ingredients available to create dishes from scratch each day from our salsas to our homemade corn tortillas. We offer many gluten-free and vegetarian items as well.Our margaritas are made from scratch each day with fresh lime juice. We offer a margarita flight of the day for our guests to try. Authenticos ambiance is a blend of rustic and old world with a modern flair. We have a warm friendly and accommodating atmosphere for casual dining, business entertaining, celebrations, private parties or any special occasion, and a comfortable bar and lounge. Two local Lake Forest families fulfilled their dream of owning and operating a unique and traditional Mexican cuisine restaurant. The vision was to expose Lake Forest, Chicago and local towns to more unique and traditional fare with fresh ingredients. Chef/Partner Antonio Gutierrez developed his cuisine from his mothers influence, preparing natural, fresh meals from local farms near his boyhood home in Mexico.
