We support the ongoing training and appropriate education that fosters public support and encourages, rather than disparages, these men and women who put their lives on the line for the entire community. We do not demand perfection, but we expect the utmost professionalism and ethical conduct from our officers. If an officer does not exhibit these standards and commits a crime, we expect equal justice under the law. We support the ongoing funding and appropriate implementation of pay increases that should accompany any additional levels of education or added duties that goes beyond the boundaries of a vibrant and effective ACCPD. We applaud the caring and hard working law enforcement officers who serve Clarke County daily.
