The Casserole Shop is owned and operated by Chris and Allison Carroll. Chris, previously a master auto technician, and Allison, previously a hotel manager, began a corporate catering business in 1993 called Dooga and The Duchess. The business initially began in our retrofitted garage. In an effort to grow the business, we began shipping pound cakes nationally. The shipping was very successful and the catering business grew more rapidly than we imagined. We needed more space, so we moved to our current location at the end of Napier Avenue and Forsyth Road in Vineville Crossing shopping center. The casserole business evolved through customer demand and it too grew at a very large pace. In an effort to focus all of our attention on the casseroles, we eliminated the catering and moved to a smaller shop, but with a much better retail location.
