Baci Ristorante is more than San Diegos best Italian restaurant. Its a neighborhood friendy gathering place where people from various culture and economic classes find the same comfort and pleasure. I think of it ascheers with fabulous food. Nobody in town cando fish better than Mimo, Tonys brilliant chef. When your there check out the framed photograph that Anthony Quinn, another Baci fan presented to Tony. Bacis its wonderful! Antonio Tony DAmato opened Baci restaurant in 1979 after having worked in the restaurant industry since arriving from Sicily at the age of 16. When first opening he played the role of host and chef and over the years has grown the restaurant into what it is today, serving the likes of many of the most notable San Diegans. You will still see Tony at the door every night along with his wife beautiful Maria.
