Perry's Joint

Perrys Joint opened its doors in May 2010 and is located on the west side of Pasadena, CAjust minutes from the iconic Rose Bowl. Born and raised in Philadelphia until age 13, Perry Bennett relocated cross country to Oakland, CA. While growing up, hed work in his fathers various shops: ice cream shop, hot dog stand, food truckyou name it. He studied Psychology at San Francisco City College post high school, however due to the entrepreneurial ways of his parents, he always knew that he wanted to open a business of his own. While still in school, a business opportunity presented itself to Perry, and by age 22, he was a business owner. Perrys Joint is signature for their original handcrafted gourmet style sandwiches that pile higher and wider than any consumers mouth. Whether its a few high school kids stopping by to grab an after school snack, a city worker having lunch, or a couple enjoying Tuesday evening jazz, you can always count on Perry to leave your palette satisfied. Perry believes it is his obligation to the give back to the community in which hes apart; therefore, one day a year he conducts a full day of business where 100% of the proceeds earned will serve as a collegiate scholarship to several graduates from John Muir High School located just 30 seconds south of his shop. This is just one of the many noteworthy ways he chooses to support the people that support him. I was born, bred, and programmed to be a part of my community.
