He came to United States in July of 1996 with his wife and children in hope of a better future. He worked for various companies but two years later he decided to start up his own business here in Houston, Texas. In February of 1998 he opened his first establishment selling roasted chicken outdoors with a grill at 8027 Harrisburg. He named the establishment Pollos Asados La Silla in memory of the famous mountain shaped like a horse saddle. With now 17 years of experience, Pollo Asados La Silla has grown and has opened up with 6 locations in Houston and surrounding areas.
