Cafe Rabelais was opened in October 2000. Originally located on Bolsover St., we moved to our current location on times blvd. in December 2004 due to the new development being build by Hanover. Our original goal was to show Houstonians that French Food was not justhigh prices, uptight service, and snobby attitudes as often imagined but rather a casual dining experience with laid back atmosphere. We quickly develop a very extensive all French wines list that somehow got us some recognition. Over the years we have thrived to remain just what our primary goal was; serving casual French cuisine and offering wines from every region of France.
