Frite&scoop

We are Kevin and Lisa Malcolm. We fell in love with Astoria in 2013, while on vacation with our two dogs (Alice and Gertie). We lived in Seattle for many years, where Lisa worked in desserts and Kevin was a self-taught Ice Cream Wizard. Upon discovering the absenceof handcrafted ice cream in Astoria, we went about making our little shop, Frite & Scoop, a reality. The shop opened in October 2014, 9 months after the idea was hatched. Kevin is the brains and talent behind all of our wonderful flavors, and Lisa has a lifelong craving for salty snacks. We combined our two passions into one unique shop, featuring small-batch ice creams and Belgian-style frites. We are open all year round! We love the Pacific Northwest, we are very proud of our amazing staff, and we cant imagine doing anything else. Come in and say hello. Wed love to see you.
