Noble Rot

Established in 2002. Noble Rot is an ecosystem. A glacial well hydrates the building and the 3000 sq foot garden on the roof. The vegetables grown there supply the restaurant. Since 2002, The Rot has educated, entertained and fed this city. Local, national and international media have consistently praised our style. Noble Rots situation is unique and our view is extraordinary. Noble Rot opened in 2002 with a line out the door. One of the very first wine bars in Portland and one of the first to celebrate the farm to table idea. Noble Rot started out on SE Ankeny in a small space with a garage door. It was a quaint, neighborhood spot, but they needed more space to add liquor to their food and wine program. Noble Rot moved to 1111 E. Burnside in 2009 and never looked back. The space, view, roof top garden and LEED platinum building make it all worth it.
