Established in 1975. We have been feeding Lagunas families and visitors since 1975. We specialize in traditional Southern Italian favorites at reasonable prices. With a cozy atmosphere, friendly service and great food its like dining with family! The original owner, Tony Manzi started Salernos in 1975. Salernos soon became a downtown Laguna staple with many repeat customers and families. Polina started working as a waitress in 1979. She worked with Tony for nearly 16 years as a waitress and personal assistant until his passing in 1993. She then had a unique opportunity to purchase the restaurant from Tonys family. With keeping the menu favorites and adding a few new exciting dishes she has been able to continue the success for nearly 19 years. Chef Carmelo, trained by Tony, started in 1977 and has contributed every step of the way to continue Tonys vision and Polinas passion for great food and friendly service at reasonable prices.
