Established in 2010. Opening a coffee shop has been a dream of ours for more than 10 years. When this great location became available, we saw an opportunity to act in the recession to make our dream come true. We hope you become part of it. We offer exceptional coffee and espresso, craft beer, fine wine, homemade sandwiches and tapas, smoothies, gluten-free foods, a music mix youll love, free wi-fi, local art, plenty of parking, and a comfortable atmosphere in corrugated tin and warm colors. Our coffee is roasted locally in Boulder, Colorado by Conscious Coffees, and is organic, shade grown, and fair trade. Conscious specializes in delivering whichever global beans are in season, so youll always get a perfect cup at the Frog whether its Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Sumatran, or Nicaraguan. All of our foods are local, all of our events feature local performers, and the rabbits that occasionally show up on our giant patio live locally as well. So, hey, fellow local: hop on over! Were Jason Kelly and Emily Kelly, brother and sister co-owners of Red Frog Coffee. Jason is a writer, best known for his financial books including The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing. He provided the start-up capital for the shop, critical because the shop opened during the great recession when banks werent lending. Red Frog is entirely self-funded. Emily learned the coffee trade at Kind Coffee in Estes Park, and in a neighborhood shop in Los Angeles. She began as a barista, became a shop manager, and is now an owner. The stars aligned in 2010. Jason provided the money, Emily provided the talent, and a well-known coffee shop chain with a circular green logo provided the location when it vacated during tough economic times. Red Frog Coffee is part of the backbone of America, the small business community that provides most of the countrys jobs, tax revenue, and economic stability — and never demands a Washington bailout.
