Found this great restaurant in our wondering trips. Glad we did, a very, cozy, quaint restaurant. Decor is super and very family friendly. I love, love the huge long table in the middle of their restaurant, It sits 12. Their staff was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Our food was very well presented and the taste was very crisp and flavorful through out all the plates we ordered. Loved the special touch in the washroom with the mouthwash, hairspray, and other toiletries and personal products in the stalls. The brunch on Sundays is fantastic. Fresh squeezed blood orange mimosas and the biscuits and gravy while not what I was expecting with a whole fried chicken breast it was amazing. For dessert the dolce de leche cheese cake and berry creme brulee were the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Delightful spot in Castle Pines, though parking is limited. We had an early dinner so were able to enjoy happy hour prices on drinks, of which they have a great selectioncocktails were particularly good, even their house Manhattan. We tried the Italian sampler for an appetizer and it was fantastic, then Antartic salmon and gnocchi for the main courseeverything took a little while to come out but was worth waiting forthe buttery sauce on the gnocchi really made the Manhattan come alive, with a caramel finish I didnt notice before the pairing! My husband and I had the best experience at Danielles Scratch Kitchen tonight! It was our anniversary, and they really made it extra special. A cozy corner booth. A GORGEOUS flower arrangement we could take home. Two complimentary glasses of champagne to start the meal. Happy Hour is not limited to week days or only the bar area like some of our other go-to spots. The food and drinks were all amazingly delicious! Highly recommend if you are looking for a great, non-chain, date-night spot, though it looks like they have a good kids menu too. During COVID times, Id recommend trying to make a reservation first.
