Detailed Information

Hunting is a safe activity, and with the availability of hunter safety education, it is growing safer all the time. Over the last 50 years hunting related injury rates have decreased dramatically, even as populations of deer, wild turkey, elk, geese, and other species of game have risen to record numbers. This site is outstanding! I am currently helping my son through the course, we are both enjoying it. I am not a novice hunter or shooter. I constantly reload and shoot various weapons. I have hunted since I was 10 years old and I am now 45 and I am even relearning stuff I had forgotten. You have set the bar high for other states to follow. As an ex-combat infantry soldier, I can honestly say that the US Army could use this course in basic training to teach the new recruits. Very educational and the virtual learning is so simple even an 8th grader will understand it! Through comprehensive instructional content and illustrations, interactive learning exercises and games, and the best hunting safety videos available anywhere, students learn about firearm safety, hunting fundamentals, conservation, and hunting laws and regulations while completing a state-approved safety course with Hunter Ed. Our hunter education courses not only prepare students for safe hunting experiences, but they also help hunters have successfuland ethicalhunts. Subjects covered in Hunter Ed courses include firearms and ammunition, hunter safety tips, hunting techniques, wildlife identification, first-aid, and more. Want to study? Use this free study guide to prepare before taking your states required course. We provide print and Internet hunting safety courses for more than 45 states. Hunter Ed is committed to hunter education safety. We work with state agencies to produce a hunter safety education course thats accurate, interesting, and easy to understand.
