Goodkind is a restaurant and corner tavern tucked away in Milwaukees Bay View neighborhood, near the shores of Lake Michigan. Taking a modern approach to Old-World dining, we specialize in rotisserie meats, local produce, and house-made cocktails. We opened June 2014 in an old, beloved residential building that had previously housed businesses as varied as a pizza parlor, blacksmith shop and of course, a typical Milwaukee neighborhood tap. Goodkind is the new epoch in a long, rich . Its a responsibility we take very seriously. Weve reinvented our inherited space to feel comfortable, timeless, and energizing. Our casual approach focuses on the experience above all else. We pride ourselves on taking off the white linens and making dinner fun and approachable without sacrificing quality or elegance. At Goodkind, we dont just focus on a delicate pairing of food and drink, we strive to create a truly symbiotic relationship between our kitchen and bar. Serving a full kitchen menu until 1 a.m. solidifies our intention of being a bar and a restaurant. Through our close friendships with artisanal producers and providers, we have access to rare releases and unique seasonal offerings.
