Taking over the space in October of 2014, we set out to make a truly unique Milwaukee experience. Offering an elevated approach to Milwaukees Beer and Brat tradition, we specialize in House-made sausages, while the casual, pretension-free environment pays homage to Milwaukees classic corner bar atmosphere. Our Chef-created menu focuses on innovative sausages ranging from familiar favorites to the adventurous, and even vegetarian options. The menu is paired with an extensive drink program that will appeal to everyone from the no-nonsense beer and shot drinker, to the discerning connoisseur. Featuring House-made Draft Cocktails, Micro and Craft Draft Brew, and an extensive Bourbon and Whiskey list, the Vanguard has something for everyone. Whether youre looking for a quick bite, or you want to hang and watch Professional Wrestling, we serve daily from lunch to late night. Our music is loud, our videos are ridiculous, were fun.
