The Broad Axe has been a local staple in Hagerstown, MD for quite some time. Changing ownership multiple times over the past 40 some years, the Broad Axe was due for an overhaul. In 2012 the Broad Axe was purchased by a young enthusiastic local Hagerstonian. The new owner wanted to bring back the atmosphere and scene that once made the Broad Axe the place to be. With an extensive renovation and update, focus on quality food, beer, liquor, wine, service and of course live music. The Broad Axe has been reborn, bringing back customers that once made this place great and introducing a new generation of Axe goers!
