After attending Prescott College, Keri and Turney desired to stay in the area, continue exploring Northern Arizonas natural landscape, and to build a future in the place they now called home. Starting a family run business enabled them to do all that and more. Inaddition to their love of nature and bagels, their love of animals, and one dog in particular, became the foundation of their new venture. Although Biff passed away in 1995, he is the soul of the company and has a proud place of honor in the shop. Over the years Biffs customers have been moved by the story of Biff, and combined with the love of their own dogs, began bringing in framed photos of their canine friends.
