The Metro Bistrot

Established in 2013. The Metro Bistrot is a French restaurant in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Our focus is regional French food, locally sourced, excellent in its fresh quality, at reasonable prices, in an aesthetic and unusual atmosphere. We are not an intimidatingFrench restaurant with ridiculous prices, miniscule portions, and heavy butter and cream sauces. Our cook and co-owner, Marie-Paule was born and raised in France and has years of experience cooking and eating well. Most of our recipes are family recipes that originated in the south of France. The Metro Bistrots menu changes weekly, and sometimes daily, according to what is available in season and at the local markets. Our menu includes a variety of French favorites, including sautéed foie gras, snails, cassoulet, duck confit, clafoutis, chocolate mousse, and more. Our restaurant is BYOB, so bring a bottle of wine and come join us for a French meal. The Metro Bistrot is the place to bien manger, savoir boire — eat well, know to drink. The Metro Bistrot has been in Southbridge since 2013. Our desire has been and is to serve French regional food at reasonable prices in an unusual and aesthetic environment.
