The Don Pepe Restaurant is a family owned and operated restaurant which began operation in 1999 in Colonial Heights, VA under the Don Jose name. This restaurant brings culinary experience in cooking and restaurants straight from the southMexico that is. The Don Pepe name has a rich southern history for over 25 years in Mexico and now is forming lasting memories here in the United States. The motto Serious Food, Friendly Faces, is a motto that we stand by. With a warm family atmosphere, our distinction is to serve our customers (our restaurant family) with great food and great customer service. Boasting an abundant menu with selections that blends time honored and current traditions ensures that taste is top priority. Starting with fresh and ending with fresh dishes have the highest quality ingredients, with time and care taken to bring to the table a satisfying dining experience for every member of the family. We work very hard bringing an array of menu options for every palate. Our sauces from the Poblano to the al Pastor are all homemade nothing from a can here. Customer service and special attention are paid to patrons in making not only the food top priority but also the dining experience itself. Our atmosphere is casual yet cozy and warm. We believe good food should provide a comforting and nutritious mix and we strive to provide both every time. Though the menu is fresh and of top quality we have made the cost affordable and kept inexpensive. Good food should be accessible to everyone without skimping on quality.
